Julia Gabriel Centre (JGC) nurtures students’ English and Mandarin language and communication skills. The adult-accompanied PlayNest and PlayClub curriculum covers children from 6 to 18 months, and 18 months old to 3 ½ years respectively, while Speech & Drama and Language Arts take them from preschool years through to their teens.
We believe that children and adults can learn and achieve success in a safe, supportive and dynamic environment, as our innovative and holistic communication programmes develop speech and language skills.
Our centres echo with the joy, fun and sense of achievement that founder director, Julia Gabriel shared with her first students. Our objective of motivating students to express themselves at their best, is approached in a way that makes learning fun. Julia Gabriel Centre offers a diverse range of innovative and holistic programmes aimed at building greater self-confidence, skills of self-leadership, self-esteem and fluency of expression through the development of speech and language skills.
A key feature of the Centre’s curriculum is the emphasis it places on stimulation, motivation, individual attention and encouragement in a fun, creative and pressure-free environment. The stimulating environment at Julia Gabriel Centre uses both Standard English and Standard Mandarin, critical elements to children’s successful academic, social, economic and interpersonal well-being.
And now, JGC together with Chiltern House for pre-school learners have expanded to two centres: Bangsar and CITTA Mall Ara Damansara.

Our Nursery One to Kindergarten Two is fully bilingual (English & Mandarin), with curriculum that has been carefully structured and planned to allow for exploration and discovery (key elements of the EduDrama process) and to establish a firm base for a lifelong love of learning. Our curriculum covers language and literacy, mathematics, research, Mandarin, art and craft, physical education, speech and drama, and music and movement. Classes are conducted within a small teacher-to-child ratio to provide ample opportunity for our teachers to follow each child’s progress closely. Our teaching team comprises both overseas and locally qualified early childhood educators adept at sparking every child’s natural curiosity to learn within a stimulating, friendly and nurturing environment.
