The annual Penang Coffee and Desserts Festival (PCDF) is back this July! The 3-days festival is organised by TLM Event and co-organised by Gurney Paragon Mall with the endorsement of the Penang State Government. It will be happening at the Atrium of Gurney Paragon Mall on 28th to 30 July 2017, from 10am to 10pm.
The rapid growth of specialty coffee and confectioneries in Penang inspired the creation of the Penang Coffee and Desserts Festival. The 3-days festival is designed distinctively to celebrate the blossoming of vast varieties of the exotic coffee in addition to enhance and encourage the development of the coffee and desserts industry in Penang.
The Penang Coffee and Desserts Festival is honoured to deliver the services aligned with the expectations to the public while creating a sophisticated yet spectacular festivity, aiming to become the largest coffee event in the Northern Malaysia. It features over 50 exhibitors, including experts and pioneers showcasing the lifestyle of urban coffee and desserts scene in Penang.
The success of the Penang Coffee and Desserts Festival can be seen by the massive crowd in 2015 and 2016. This year, the annual festival is back in full swing and beyond massive. In-conjunction with the festival, there will be exciting and fun-filled competitions happening for two consecutive days namely the Arabica Estate Asia Latte Art Championship 2017 (29th July, 10am – 8pm) and the French Desserts Plating Competition (30th July, 2pm – 6pm) respectively. Both determine the best skills out of their industry and find out elites among the talented passionates.
Besides that, the signature Food Truck Gathering Party will be held along Jalan Kelawai from 5pm – 10pm. Visitors are able to enjoy mouthwatering bites served by vibrant yet edgy food trucks to a downtown gastronomic experience!
Other highlights include showcases, workshops and demonstrations by expertise across the field.
