5 Ways to Treasure Precious Moments with Your Kids

One truth every parent knows is that children grow up really fast. In a blink of an eye, your very silent and peaceful newborn will be a talkative and playful toddler. • Be present in the real world and not in the virtual world. Keep the television, computer, and your phones off. • Keep the to-do list at a minimum. There is always a minimum requirement in anything. Let’s refrain from being perfectionists or going overboard with the minimum requirement that we forget to spend time with our kids. Learn to recognise and be happy with our accomplishments for the day and let go. Let’s learn to sit back and enjoy some time with our kids without worrying too much about our to-do lists.
• Look at our children and notice everything about them. It will not be long before our kids will be spending more time outdoors than at home. While they are still with us most of the time, let’s try to notice and savour everything about them.
