Dear Parents,
It is my pleasure to introduce you to Monte Kidz World.
As the name suggests, Monte Kidz World is a Montessori kindergarten where children, up to the age of six, are educated according to the methods and principles set forth by Dr Maria Montessori.
Dr Maria Montessori’s system of education is renowned throughout the world. According to her, the ‘most important period in life is not the age of university studies but from birth to the age of six.’ Her teaching method recognizes the importance of the first six years in a child’s development. The child’s powers of absorption are at their peak during these sensitive years, when lifelong attitudes and patterns of learning are firmly established.
Like Dr Maria Montessori, we at Monte Kidz World believe that each child is a unique individual who deserves to be allowed to develop at his/her own pace. The child then, will gain confidence and self-esteem, as well as acquire an inner desire to learn more. That is why we have created an environment programmed to enhance your child’s potential – in language, creativity and social interaction. Our fun-filled multi-sensory activities have been developed to nurture the whole person and foster growth from within.

Our qualified Montessori trained teachers are equipped with our well-researched Montessori-based curriculum to prepare your child for entry into Primary One with confidence. Our curriculum uses the principle of moving from the concrete to the abstract in presenting concepts to children. In other words children are not taught to recognize letters and numbers by rote. They are taught to recognize these concepts through the five senses – sight, sound, smell, touch and taste. This equips them with the 3 ‘R’s of learning, ie., to Reading, wRiting and aRithmetic, a necessary foundation for the next stage of cognitive development.
