Fresh – Meet the Minions
Fri, Sat, Sun

Are you a student who is keen on finding out more about the publishing industry or wondering about what to do after graduation? Would you like to get a better idea of what an internship with Ethos is like? Hear from the young (minions) of Ethos—ex-interns turned full-time staff— about how they stumbled onto the path of publishing! (We’ll even tell you how to pack books or what sniffing out for interesting manuscripts involves)

Different – Meet the Publisher
Sat and Sun, 2 – 4pm

Curious about how the publishing scene has evolved over the years? Keen on getting an insider’s perspective on how it may be like in the future? Mr. Fong founded Ethos Books 19 years ago with a vision of what the local publishing landscape could become and he’ll be around to answer your questions! He’s also a great storyteller, so look forward to hearing about his experience not only as a publisher, but as someone who always looks towards different possibilities and potential in Singapore writing!

Enduring – The 9,986,400 Hours Showcase
Fri, Sat, Sun

For the first time ever, get a chance to see every book we’ve published, starting from the first three in 1997 to our latest line-up of releases during the Singapore Writer’s Festival 2016. All our hours of blood, sweat and tears—we’ll bare it all from our strangest covers, to our oddest titles, and how we’ve changed in the past 19 years.
